Dandenong Dandies vintage t-shirt
A tribute to Dandenong’s finest. Despite their foppish name, the Dandies were renowned for their rugged fight. Filtering in from the south-east Federal League to the VFA in 1958, the dapper Dandies became a finals force in the 1970s. Sadly Dandenong were a victim of financial folly and footy’s 1990s rationalisation. Reborn as they Redlegs, the senior club finally folded in 1995. Read more about them at the excellent Australian Football website. This tee is based on a 60s design we dug up. We’re not sure if it was used officially alongside the club’s distinctive gloves, can and top hat crest. Please give us a yell if you know more.
