Darebin Falcons is more than just a football club. It’s a pioneering sporting organisation committed to empowerment and equality. Since its formation in 1990 it has grown to become a women’s footy powerhouse. Yet despite its success, this community club battles to get by. Last year the Falcs had to launch a GoFundMe campaign just to buy new footys after a league mandated switch to the smaller AFLW ball. Because Darebin’s a stand-alone club it has to compete against AFL backed rivals. It’s a tough slog. So I decided to reach out and help design a tee to raise some extra funds.
